We've been going super-plain food wise over here. This is all down to Bert not being that great in the digestion/acid reflux department at the moment. Inspired by his childhood, Bert made pastini the other day and it was so delicious.

Pastini is just the name of the pasta that's in the dish (teeny-tiny pasta), so maybe this should be called pastini soup?  Bert cooked the pastini in one pan and in the other pan cooked carrot, potato and parsnip in vegetable stock and fresh sage. Once everything was done he put them all together along with some cannellini beans and fresh parsely.

It's a lovely dish, fresh tasting, wholesome and healthy.
