creative space - bunting

Here's some bunting I made for my niece's 6th birthday.  It was my first go and was actually pretty simple! I made it on my machine (am not much of a machine sewer) and was quite pleased with the results.

I then made two more sets for my two other nieces....

this was all pre-shingles by the way...although I am feeling a bit better by now, just left feeling quite tired and with puffy eyes as if I've been camping without a pillow.....

  2. Hello Sian:
This bunting all looks very jolly indeed. It has rather a 1950s look to it, we think, and we are sure that your nieces will all be delighted with the results. Where, we wonder, is it to be used? Festooning a bedroom would look lovely, but there are so many possibilities.

Hoping that you are feeling more yourself. Get well soon!

    1. thank you! yes, a little 1950s! it's a mixture of new and vintage fabrics... i think they are going to hang it in their bedrooms and now i know it's quite simple to make (just takes time!) i'll be hanging bunting EVERYWHERE!!

  7. I love your bunting. Its somethign I have always wanted to make, now that I have a bit of a decent garden, I am hoping to use my mothers sewing machine to make one for the garden to use when the sun is shining. Love the fabric you have chosen.
