May day is coming up and am thinking of trying out making paper flowers with children at the museum. Although they are pretty easy to make am a bit concerned that it may be too busy to show them how it's done. Anyway, I'll worry about that later....
they are made out of crepe paper and florists wire.
I can't remember where I got the tutorial from, but there are plenty out there.
I bought some florists tape too - it's only about 50p for a roll and looks like a crepe paper/sticky tape cross.
I couldn't work out how to use if first (I know, it seems obvious!) but after a bit of internet research I discovered that the green tape will only stick to itself (it doesn't actually feel sticky to the touch on the roll) and you have to pull it gently as you wrap it around the wire.
what do you think?
any may day craft ideas will be gratefully recieved!
